The camping site at Ingarö has been in use for almost a hundred years. Early last century the porcelain manufacturer Gustavsberg used it as a recreational area for their employees. A splendid freebee situated between Ingarölandet and Värmdölandet. The camping site is situated on a hilly peninsula, which ensures magnificent sea view in almost every direction. There are 160 camping spots and five cottages at Ingarö Havscamping. Two centrally located service facilities where you’ll find kitchen, laundry, toilettes, and showers makes the stay comfortable. Since the surroundings are hilly it’s easy to find that favourite spot of your own. Choose between the nice sandy beach and the pier for your day by the sea. There is a secluded area for children by the pier. There are high-boards at the end of the pier. The water temperature is nice and warm since the sun quickly warms up the small bay where the beach is. There is a kiosk at the beach where you can enjoy coffee with a treat or a light meal. You can also by bread, ice cream and some food. Close to the kiosk you’ll find the miniature golf course, boule course, basket- and volleyball courses and the soccer field. Want to try catching a pike-perch or any other of the Baltic fishes that are found in the waters of Ingarö? The fishing possibilities are great here. If you arrive by boat there are boat landings to be leased.
